They Like That Kind of Music
Driving around, with the windows down, we pull up to a stop light and next to a tattoo wagon. The guy in the wagon has has music cranked, soul/hip-hop, and I notice Annelise rolling up her window. I ask her, "didn't you like that music?" and she replied, "No daddy. It's HORRIBLE!" and then, "guys like him (an African-American guy), and other guys who look kind of like him, like that kind of music". The anthropologist in me was geeked at watching how children begin to categorize people.

Stylin' and Smilin'
What do you get when you add one heck of a sweet little girl and a 12 cent thrift store toupee? Annelise in a stylin' wig and a daddy who can't stop giggling!
A pom pom, a moo-moo and a toupee. Score!
Daddy's little girl (who tires of daddy's silly games).
Cute.

Princess Eggs
Annelise told me she would eat eggs for lunch today on the condition that I make her "Princess Eggs", a foul-looking concoction made by adding red food coloring to scrambled eggs.
Yummy!
Hell. She ate them and eggs are good for you. Just don't look at them OK?
Something died on this plate (the answer was a baby chicken!)
On the way back from school I was asking Annelise about her day and she didn't answer me. I asked if she had heard me and she replied, "I didn't think you were talking to me", strange seeing that it was just us in the car so I shot back, "well then, who did you think I was talking to?" and she calmly stated, "Yourself. You do that you know". Tag. I'm out.
When you're a princess you deserve Princess Eggs dammit!

Snowman Coming At Ya!
Annelise made a wee snowman today. The snow was powdery and not snowman friendly, but she persevered and this is the result:
Someone now has another minion (Bea Cat is her other one).
'Tis wee, but quite fine!
"My minion shall come with me!"
No Mister Snowman, I expect you to die! (slowly in the morning sunshine).
